a collection of felt movements is an ongoing collaborative project by Michaela Gerussi and Nellie Gossen. The project bridges their respective work in performance and clothing research, and the intersection of these fields as they relate to embodiment.
Through wearing, moving, sensing and making, they work with clothing as material to alter and craft through necessity and according to their desires. In the context of this project, they have created adaptive outfits which act as individualized, wearable sites of research. Their working methodolgy follows an ongoing, functional and responsive dialogue between the clothing items and the moving body.
