Resonant Tide is a performance of accuracy and abandon, where incremental shifts emerge from repetition and the pursuit of precision.
This dance considers our collectivity in the world. Through physical research of evolving forms and holistic anatomy I work to understand who I am in this body, in this space, and in relationship to others.
This solo work comes out of a collaborative practice by Michaela Gerussi and Emily LeBlanc since 2014. It was originally inspired by a community line dance at the Wheel Club in Montreal, Quebec.

This dance considers our collectivity in the world. Through physical research of the minute details inside of evolving forms, we work to listen deeply to the specificity of our own bodies, in space, and in relationship to others.
